Inspired by Grace Kelly, I used Indian Black and white ink, as well as airbrush on vintage book sheets to give it a connection to the artist. This drawing might look simple but it took me a while to balance the dark and light areas and to keep the narrative of the era intact. I think Princes Kelly is one of the 50s and 60s icons not just in film but in politics and art.
