Like so many of my paintings, I wanted to capture nature's amazing bright colored palette. I work in bright hues, at times adding in neon paints. I was hoping  to generate the awe that is produced by an epic sunset. Nothing is more heaven sent than the colors the sky produces just before the sun goes down. It's a daily phenomenon which we at times I take for granted. I hope this painting serves as a reminder to stay grateful for the beauty that exists in the world.
