Here, the flower becomes both subject and sacrifice, caught between representation and dissolution. Through violent brushstrokes and torn paper collages, Marcelle interrogates the vulnerability of living forms. The work pulses with contradictions—delicacy meets force, figuration confronts abstraction—creating a visual tension that speaks to our complex relationship with nature's beauty and transience.
