The Egret has a deep spiritual meaning in my family. It is said that the Egret is a symbol of peace, solitude, independence, and determination. I think they are a beautiful creature, almost heaven-sent in their grace, and smooth silent flights with giant angelic wings. I was inspired to create this image to depict a patient Egret, attempting to catch his next meal. Reminder to stay steadfast, hopeful, and positive.
