Sombra 1 - First Penumbra 
In this inaugural shadow work, the bird emerges from darkness as both presence and absence. The piece explores the liminal space where form dissolves into shadow, where the avian silhouette becomes a meditation on visibility and erasure. Through layers of ink and paint, Marcelle creates a twilight realm where the bird exists as memory, trace, and premonition—never fully materialized, yet undeniably present.
